Package arrived in a sturdy box, parts labeled and separated.

I was expecting a defect or a malfunction or something... after assembly, I sat down and fiddled with the adjustments and everything worked perfectly. It's comfortable, VERY sturdy, and keeps your seated parts cool

I must say I am pleasantly surprised and optimistic with my first purchase with Musso!

I have to confess I was super hesitant to buy an office chair online. I have purchased several in local computer stores, and none of them did hold up very long, despite having been pricey: wheels broke, mechanics did not lift any longer after half a year, faux leather degraded, plastic got brittle to the point of armrest breaking off, ...

I have to confess furthermore that my quality standards are quite high. I'm German by nationality and have worked there with/on top-notch office equipment for two decades. And I know well that a solid built item cannot come cheap: my last office chair in Germany cost me about the equivalent of ₱40,000.

So I went on to do some online research, which kind of chair would perhaps fit my own size (6ft, 280 pounds), last for a long time, and help me to keep my lower back pain in check. An ergonomic chair is a must for a screen worker. The brand name Musso popped up several times during my search, although mostly for gamer chairs (I am not a gamer). So I went to their web site, and I was about to order an E600 Pro, when I came across the announcement of the H80 Pro. That one caught my attention, and the specs and details suggested this chair is what I'm looking for. Despite the pending availability, I placed an order right away. I had to wait about a week longer than the estimated availability date, but once Musso started to fulfill the pre-orders, I received mine within three days to Region VI.

The packaging has already made a huge difference to what I am used to when receiving mail ordered items. The shipment arrived without any signs of damage, and all the pieces were well-protected. The second surprise was the assembly instructions: not a photocopied paper sheet with Chinese glyphs or sixteen other languages and undecipherable imagery, but a large(!) glossy cardboard sheet of a quality and layout that rivals the best instruction charts I have ever seen.

To be honest, I had been surprised when unpacking because many of the pieces are really lightweight (not the ones from solid metal, of course). But none of them felt in any way flimsy.

Assembly was a breeze given the very easy and well-presented instructions. With the assembly bolts came a hex key wrench, which was in itself already an ergonomic revelation. Of course it took a while to complete the chair, as the wheel base and mechanics has a substantial heft, but I was done with unboxing and assembling in less than 20 minutes.

The first time to sit down in it was another revelation. My lower back really gets support here! These additional side panels at the lumbar section of the back rest make a huge difference. Adjusting the few movable pieces is easy; there's also a set of pictured instructions on the back of the assembly poster. The 3D armrests need some getting used too, but after working for a while I am glad I hadn't opted for the simple armrests. The mesh is also a surprise to sit on; it is airy but firm.

I am very happy with my purchase. Time will tell about the durability, but two years of warranty already say something about the manufacturer's confidence.

Verdict: see subject. I gave Musso a large credit of trust by pre-ordering, and they delivered. Big time.
